HEART OF COMMUNITY
An art, fashion, and leisure world brought together by two sisters, with love for all.
Ani Bergero began as a creative at her core. After starting her career on the runways as a fashion designer, she expanded her practice to include fashion and art installations presented in New York and Miami between 2020 and 2024. What began as a heartfelt creative pursuit exploring culture, femininity, and community has evolved, through her partnership with her sister, Agos Bergero, based in Mexico, into a shared project that brings women together around art, fashion, wellness, and leisure through curated gatherings, creative exchange, and limited releases.

The Start of it All
Heart of Community, commissioned by Faena Art and exhibited throughout 2023, transformed the Faena Art Project Room into a dynamic space featuring textile art, fashion, collage, and murals that together crafted a distinctly Latin American Pop aesthetic.
The installation welcomed thousands of visitors into an immersive art experience that mirrored the energy of a community art center. The space celebrated creativity in every dimension, through tie-dye workshops, a podcast, discussions, and heart-opening events, becoming a true hub for artistic and communal connection.

Collages, textile art, fashion, wallpapers, and moving image pieces recreated a contemporary visual universe where kitsch religious iconography, urban imagery, and quinceañera culture came together to dress the space. The result was an intriguing and reflective installation exploring themes of womanhood, culture, and tradition.
Recognized by the City of Miami Beach for its impact on the local community, Heart of Community reveals art’s power to connect, celebrate, and transform.
FASHION IS ART
Heart of Community, Columbus Fashion Alliance
Invited by the Columbus Fashion Alliance for the Fashion Is Art segment at Gallerie, as part of the Short North District’s “Gallery Hop” November itinerary, in partnership with the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Ohio Arts Council.
This iteration of Heart of Community brings together elements from the installation commissioned by Faena Art (2023), along with pieces developed for the Quinceañera Walmart commission (2024) and the “Follow Your Rainbow” Faena Gala (2025).
